Dedham, MA – January 18, 2023 – Spectrum Integrated Technologies (Spectrum IT), the low-voltage technology division of J&M Brown Company based in Dedham, MA, provided comprehensive tel/data cabling and sound masking installations at Sanofi’s 12-floor, 510,000 square-foot new laboratory and office facility at 350 Water Street in Cambridge Crossing.

Spectrum’s intricate IT project encompassed providing Cat-6 cabling to all user and wireless data outlets throughout all 12 floors; installation of the fiber optic cable backbone connecting all IT rooms; and build-out of the IT rooms in the newest of Sanofi’s campus buildings in Cambridge.

Project Manager Lou Whittemore and Foreman Pat Simpson headed the Spectrum project team, which ranged upwards of 10 IBEW Local 103 technicians in the fast-track 5-month project. The project was completed, as scheduled, in September 2022.

Spectrum worked on a project team led by general contractor, John Moriarty & Associates of Winchester, MA.

Under separate contract, J&M Brown Company provided the electrical fit-out at the Cambridge Crossing Sanofi lab and office facility.

Sanofi is a world-leading life sciences company and the Cambridge Crossing campus is among the company’s largest facilities in the U.S.
